Ok, so in the post-post-post Academy Awards trauma, we have deduced that (a) the academy is wack; (b) johnny and sean are buddies; and (c) lord of the rings won way too much (and this is coming from a fan).
On a lighter note, the Secret Window looks tantalizingly smashing, see emily's review. Ummmm... Charlie and and Chocolate Factory is in PRE-PRODUCTION!! Hooray! So that will come out sometime 2005 (November?).

February 20, 2004: Updates
Ok, I (being me) have finally seen Big Fish, and am working on the review page as we (being me) speak. You can read all about it in no more than a week. Oh yes, and Emily (being her)'s birthday is in one week from today!! Sweet Sixteen! Wish her many happy thoughts...dammit.

News for February 2, 2004: Oscars
Big Fish was nominated for Best Score! Pity that was it... c'mon academy, where's Best Picture?
Johnny was nominated for Best Actor!!!... Finally! It sure took them a while, where were they when 'Ed Wood' came out?
Nicole Kidman wasn't nominated! Thank God.
